The Public Institution “Žumberak – Samobor Hills Nature Park” attended a conference titled “Interpretation and Promotion of Archaeological Heritage” held on 13 June at the House of the European Union in Ljubljana and on June 14 at the Museum of Dolenjska in Novi Mesto. In 2018, as the European Year of Cultural Heritage, event organizers wanted to focus on the possibilities of recognition, greater appreciation and more successful interpretation of archaeological heritage. At both events, the manifestation of “Culinary Millennia” is presented as an example of good practice. And this year our two-day culinary event will be presented as an innovative culinary event through the project “I Enjoy the Tradition” and on June 30 we will prepare the prehistoric dishes from our cookbook on the festival of prehistoric life and cuisine Festival Situl, which will be held in the gardens of Museum of Dolenjska in Novo mesto.
One of the organizers of this conference is the project “Iron-Age-Danube” from INTERREG Danube Transnational program, within which we participate as partners in the project ECO KARST.
